Cruel Hand Luke

The FUPA, sheep dogging and geometry.

Baby gazelles, boats, bondage and the outer boroughs.

Luke's first derby experience was the GGRD Derbytaunt Ball of  2007, to which was invited by the (now-retired) Lemony Kickit. He was a derby virgin who had no idea what all the screaming and shouting was about, but he loved it. Soon afterward, he found himself at the 2007 season opener cheering for Kickit's team, the Bronx Gridlock, as they squeaked a win over the Queens of Pain. He called his girl and said, "You have to see this!"

She saw the next bout, fell in love, took skating lessons, practiced hard, made the cut, and became Straight Razor of the Manhattan Mayhem. Before he knew what was happening, Luke was asked to help out with Mayhem management. Fearing for his life, he begged, kicked, and screamed, but eventutally Pie, Razor and Surly won him over and he agreed to manage the cell block.
