2005 BOUT TICKETS
Advance tickets are now available for the May 20th bout, but hold onto your pork chops and tater tots - this one's a little different. GGRD is putting their helmets where their hearts are, and a portion of the proceeds from this upcoming bout will go to the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA). Stick around afterward for an open-skate afterparty with the Gotham Girls! Tickets are $12 in advance through the GGRD web site, or $15 at the door. Doors open at 7:30PM — bout starts at 8:30PM.
General Admission — May 20

Sit where you like — at your own risk! General admission ticket-holders may
sit or stand in any designated trackside area. Just watch out — sit too close
and you're likely to end up with a rollergirl in your lap!! (Chairs are not
provided for General Admission seating; please feel free to bring
blankets, camp chairs or other seating if you'll be more comfortable.)

The Gotham Girls have taken their regular skating linueps and done a little shake-n-bake to create two one-time only expo teams: the Long Island Lunch Ladies and the Mott Haven Meatheads. This will be your only opportunity to see some of these skaters face off against each other, and you don't wanna miss it!
The Girls will serve up a smorgasbord of surprises including food-themed penalty showdowns, live music by the Shemps and Lady Unluck (featuring GGRD’s own Suzy Hotrod), snack bar food, and an Open Skate Afterparty with music spun by DJ Neil McCoy (skate rental included in the price of admission). Support Meals on Wheels and your local all-girl roller derby with this upcoming FOOD FIGHT!

Your name will be placed on a will-call list at the event — please check in at the
box office when you arrive. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us within 48
hours of your ticket purchase. Please print a copy of this e-mail to present at the
door, along with valid photo ID.
Bouts are held at Skate Key, 220 E. 138th St. in the South Bronx, just one stop out of Manhattan
on the 4/5 subway lines. From the 138th Street/Grand Concourse station, walk one block east on
East 138th — Skate Key is across the street.
