Arson was an unaccomplished but stubborn gymnast as a child. Later on in her life she dabbled in swimming, volleyball, pick-up basketball, dance, rowing and yoga. She danced tango and worked out at the gym until she discovered roller derby in 2009 and succumbed to its siren call. Even after derby training, Arson still thinks the hardest thing she ever did on skates was skating to a handstand at age eight, as instructed by her older sisters.

Born and bred in Argentina, Arson is a big fan of dulce de leche. Her affinity for setting things on fire was swiftly brought to an end when her mom found her burning newspapers on the patio. Arson practiced extreme studying throughout her life, which led her to Scotland to earn a PhD degree in Molecular Biology and experience rainfall in all its forms. She moved to New York in 2006 to work as a research scientist, and quickly discovered that her empanadas would make her a lot of friends.
