Lucille trained for several years in a variety of martial arts, including JKD, BJJ, Muay Thai, Kali and Krav Maga. Since she was young, she was always drawn to the martial arts, but her mom had different plans and for several years while growing up she was enrolled in dance classes -- ballet, jazz and tap. Nowadays, that training helps with her kicking (her toes are always pointed) and body awareness/mechanics.

 Lucille skated for the Manhattan Mayhem from 2008-2009 and the Wall Street Traitors in 2009.

While she may look like a white girl, Lucille "Boom Boom" Ballistic is actually half Spanish (her mother is Bolivian). She is super-proud of her heritage (two of her tattoos are Bolivian-themed). Lucille has lived in NYC on-and-off for a total of 5 years and has a Masters in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY). While she was in graduate school, she worked as a criminal investigator for the Public Defender's office and found her calling. Lucille has worked as a private investigator for about eight years. Lucille lived and worked in London for a year and was introduced to roller derby by a skater from the London Rollergirls. She looked up the Gotham Girls when she moved back, and the rest is history.
