As a child, Puss could be found in water, up a tree, or on the blacktop playing red rover or street hockey with the neighborhood boys. As she grew up, she competed in any sport she could - gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, softball, cross country, track and field (holla triple jumpers!) and, her most beloved, soccer - and became particularly skilled in the harlem shake, limbo, and synchronized swimming. In college, she found joy in tackling women on the rugby pitch and has since decided to spice it up by doing it on wheels (more or less.)

Puss became a big city kitty in 2008, moving from Boston, where she went to school and worked as a pediatric medical assistant and respite worker with kids who have severe special needs. Currently, she works as a Pediatric ICU nurse, working towards her Master's to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, specializing in oncology... at least for now. Puss likes a challenge, and wants to spend every day with kids and families who need a little more time and love.
