Stevie Kicks competed on the soccer and diving teams for all four years of high school, including two years as captain of the varsity diving team. She also has extensive backpacking experience and enjoys skiing and scuba diving. This is her fourth season skating with the Queens of Pain, and she has skated with the Wall St. Traitors since their inception at the East Coast Derby Extravaganza three years ago. She is a blocker and pivot.

Stevie Kicks moved to New York City four years ago after spending several years working as a creative writing instructor, environmental educator, and home therapist for special needs children in the mountains of upstate New York, New Hampshire, and Idaho. She now spends her days teaching special education to fourth and fifth graders at a public school in Brooklyn. In addition to teaching, she has secured many grants for her students, including grants for therapeutic horseback riding lessons, books and technology equipment, and workshops with the Puppeteers Cooperative, Prospect Park Audubon Center, and Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. She mentors new teachers and gives workshops on adapting the Teachers College Readers and Writers Workshop model for students with developmental disabilities.
