Sugar Daddy was introduced to Gotham Girls Roller Derby by Bone Crawford and was hooked from the very first game. He started out as a sponsor and a roadie, helping label VIP seating at the Skate Key and doing whatever else was an apparent need at the time.
Sug graduated from roadie to rookie referee with the New Jersey Dirty Dames, where he had one good year of complete and utter fun. He joined Gotham in February 2008, and then the real training began. With the help of so many awesome skaters and referees, the training on how to be a good roller derby referee continues.
